We asked ourselves: Can an AI write our blog articles for us?

To make your website attractive, there is one important principle: Content is King! In order for Google to show you in high positions in the search results, your website must offer searchers added value. This added value often consists of well-researched, interesting articles on topics in your industry. This not only brings traffic to your website, but also helps Google to better understand you and your business. Often, such content is written by content writers: Professional writers who write articles for you on a given topic. The problem: Such 'content writers' are paid per word - in the field of software development with about 23 cents per word. With an average article of 1200 words, this comes to costs of almost 300 CHF per article. Clearly too expensive for us as a start-up. But we wouldn't be Polygon if we didn't have a solution: artificial intelligence! We programmed an algorithm that uses AI to write complete blog articles for us. The content of these articles is written in perfectly written German, English and Chinese and the content is correct. The only work that remains for us is proofreading and checking the content so that our AI does not publish any false information. On a productive day, we can write 50 articles for our blog. To research and write these articles completely by hand we would need about three working weeks, or would have to pay 15'000 CHF to content writers!
